Found these absolutely amazing pieces of art from Dan Luvisi. He has recently been featured on Huffington post, and for good reason. The art is just awesome in its awesomeness, including the fantastic orange Tigger!

Take a look at what the author says about his work:

Now, I know, the characters I am painting are gross, scary and dark. But I am not a crazy person. I have two lovely cats (okay, may be semi-crazy), and I like to think I’m an okay guy.

But the reason I am drawing these are for an upcoming book of mine and my friend Alex Konstad, called Popped Culture. It will be childhood characters, re-imagined through the twisted culture of Hollywood and its corruptive ways.

We will be running a Kickstarter this summer, so keep your eyes out.

The great thing about these are not just the amazing images but also the stories that go with them. Go to the blog and check it out, and keep an eye out for the kick-starter project.

OMG. A real life Gravity gun from one of my favourite games of all time. I still pop back and play the half-life games even today and regularly play CSS. But the gravity gun was oh so much fun. This ‘toy’ is perhaps not real, but it is life size. Wait, a real gravity gun, imagine the carnage! Just check out the product description:

Created directly form the digital data supplied by Valve and fully accurate and authentic to the model from Half-Life 2, it’s the Half-Life 2 Gravity Gun 1:1 Scale Prop Replica! The Gravity Gun, also known as the Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator, is a full size, 1:1 scale model of the tractor beam type weapon featured in the Half-Life video games. It measures nearly 2-feet long and features glowing orange LEDs, 2 handles, 2 triggers, and 4 unique sounds directly from the video game. As a bonus, a carefully concealed fold-away kick-stand allows you to display your Gravity Gun on the shelf or desktop when not in use.

aeroskull hd orange

Sometimes you come across a gadget you just have to try out, and this is definitely one of them, the Aeroskull HD. Not only does it come in an absolutely fantastic orange colour, and I mean how pretty is that thing! It plays my tunes. You know, Vanilla Ice, Richard Marx,Glenn Medeiros and other funky beats. There is just so much to love about this. Even the controller is cool. Anyway take a look over at the manufacturers site, Jarre. These do not only look great, if not a little bit like a crystal skull from that film, they sound excellent. Definite winner.

It is amazing the quality of work out there for all to see. Came across this fantastic animation by Alfred Imageworks, an animation studio based in Korea. You can see some more of their work on Vimeo and at their website . It is one of those shorts you could imagine being a full 90 minute film, full of quality direction, timing and comedy. Plus Johnny Express is Orange! Cracking stuff.

It’s 2150

There are all sorts of Aliens living throughout space.
Johnny is a Space Delivery Man who travels to different planets to deliver packages.
Johnny is lazy and his only desire is to sleep in his autopilot spaceship.
when the spaceship arrives at the destination, all he has to do is simply deliver the box.
However, it never goes as planned. Johnny encounters strange and bizarre planets
and always seems to cause trouble on his delivery route.

Will he be able to finish his mission without trouble?
